Quetico North – 7 Days

Quetico canoe route - Kasakowog lake

This Quetico canoe route features the most northerly lakes in Quetico park. The West – East route is less traveled, includes some of the best pictographs in the park and what we consider to be some of some of the prettiest lakes in the Quetico. The portages are moderate + with several beaver dams that will need to be crossed, so pack light and get ready to enjoy a different Quetico canoe trip.

The second half of the trip is free of portages takes you through Batchewaung bay and the Pickerel narrows with amazing views and fishing. You’ll exit at Stanton Bay where your shuttle will be waiting. Options include; starting your trip at Lerome lake and watch the Cirrus river pour over Sue Falls into Cirrus lake and / or you can exit at Nym or French lake.

Features Include::

  • Kasakokwog Lake with its distinctly rugged northern feel
  • Lots of paddling on big lakes
  • Pictographs
  • Total Distance: 68 Miles
