My dad and I paddled this route with friends back in 2012. I will always remember our time paddling though the beauty of Quetico. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
Dad’s Quetico Canoe Route will take you across the park. You will (Hopefully) enjoy paddling with the prevailing westerly winds as you enjoy large lakes, great campsites and some of the quietest lakes in the park. This route is longer than the Quetico traverse but is as equally spectacular.

- Total Time: 38 hours
- Total Distance: 117 km (72 miles)
- Nice long paddles on Quetico Lake and sturgeon lake
- If water levels are low you may have to go through Fern Lake (two sites on islands) up to the dam on Pickerel
- Trip length is based on 16km (10 Miles) per day with no rest days
