Our “Quetico North” trip features the most northerly lakes in Quetico park. This West – East route is less traveled, includes some of the best pictographs in the park and what we consider to be some of some of the rugged lakes in the Quetico. The portages are moderate + with several beaver dams that will need to be crossed, so pack light and get ready to enjoy a different Quetico canoe trip.
The second half of the trip is free of portages and will take you through Batchewaung bay and the Pickerel amazing narrows. Options include; starting your trip at Lerome lake and watch the Cirrus river pour over Sue Falls into Cirrus lake and / or you can exit at Nym or even French lake. If you want to exit at French lake we can help you shuttle your car to the secure parking area so when you finish your trip you can simply put your canoe on the racks provided, grab a shower and drive home.
